Ashley Tisdale's career also included singing at the White House, when she was just twelve years old. She also has done films in her career as well.

Most recently, Ashley Tisdale starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie
High School Musical; she has pointed out that she enjoyed playing the villainous character (Sharpay) in the film because she was nothing like herself. The role required Tisdale to perform several songs including, "What I've Been Looking For", "Bop to the Top" and "We're All in this Together", which had all managed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 at one point or so.

Ashley Tisdale also sings her version of the song "Someday My Prince Will Come" (from Disneymania 4 CD) and "Kiss the Girl" (for the DVD special edition release of The Little Mermaid). Tisdale appears in the Disney Channel Games, which began airing in June of 2006; she is the captain of the Green Team, the members of which are Lucas Grabeel, Miley Cyrus
, Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso, and Kyle Massey.
